{"id":55964,"date":"2021-05-21T19:18:46","date_gmt":"2021-05-21T09:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=55964"},"modified":"2021-05-25T19:46:26","modified_gmt":"2021-05-25T09:46:26","slug":"2021-mdrt-annual-meeting-virtual-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2021\/05\/21\/2021-mdrt-annual-meeting-virtual-event\/","title":{"rendered":"2021 MDRT Annual Meeting Virtual Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdrt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MDRT organisation<\/a> continues to pivot for its members in delivering its <a href=\"https:\/\/annualmeeting.mdrt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021 Annual Meeting Virtual Event<\/a>, which will take place from 7 &#8211; 9 June.<\/p>\n<p>In promoting this event to its more than 65,000 members across 70 nations and territories, the organisation notes key highlights in 2021 will include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A three-day main event featuring:\n<ul>\n<li>MDRT Main Platform<\/li>\n<li>MDRT Speaks<\/li>\n<li>Focus Sessions<\/li>\n<li>ConneXion Zone breakout sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>On-Demand Weeks lasting through to 9 July 2021, where attendees can access all Annual Meeting broadcasts along with new content focused on helping members nurture and expand their practices<\/li>\n<li>Expansive digital networking opportunities including:\n<ul>\n<li>The MDRT People to Meet peer-matching service<\/li>\n<li>Peer-to-peer video calls<\/li>\n<li>Direct messaging and an event-wide live chat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the organisation, the event will be delivered in up to 15 languages across three global time zones.<\/p>\n<p>In its promotional release, MDRT says more than 200 sessions will be presented to members at this year&#8217;s virtual event, where qualifying members will be able to engage and network with others via live chat, direct messaging and peer-to-peer video calls.<\/p>\n<p>It says that by tapping into the MDRT People to Meet service, advisers will be matched with like-minded peers from around the world, empowering them to grow their circle of expertise.<\/p>\n<p>In what is positioned as the ultimate resource for financial service professionals, the organisation notes all event attendees can extend their learning experience with the four subsequent On-Demand weeks after the Annual Meeting Virtual Event closes.
