{"id":59180,"date":"2022-01-17T08:36:22","date_gmt":"2022-01-16T21:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=59180"},"modified":"2022-01-18T13:23:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T02:23:52","slug":"vale-chris-regenass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2022\/01\/17\/vale-chris-regenass\/","title":{"rendered":"Vale Chris Regenass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Synchron state manager, <strong>Chris Regenass<\/strong>, has passed away following complications associated with major heart surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Widely-respected by his Synchron colleagues and the broader financial services community, Regenass was the firm&#8217;s state manager for South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory for the last four plus years.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Synchron, Regenass worked for 22 years in various advice network-related roles with both AMP and AXA &#8211; spending around eleven years with each insurer &#8211; where his last role prior to joining Synchron in 2017 was as head of financial planning for AMPFP, Charter and Hillross.<\/p>\n<p>In paying tribute to his colleague, Synchron Director, <strong>Don Trapnell<\/strong>, noted that Regenass took over a small Synchron operation in SA, Tasmania and NT in 2017, but had built the business to the point where it had reached sufficient size to become a licensee firm in its own right.<\/p>\n<p>Click the video image below to view a brief video tribute to Chris Regenass from Synchron Director, Don Trapnell.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chris Regenass\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2Vy9_kBvED4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Many other tributes from Synchron and other industry colleagues have been posted across social media networks for Regenass, who is survived by his wife and two children.
