Queensland-based adviser, Felicity Cooper<\/strong>, has been announced as the winner of the prestigious AFA Adviser of the Year Award for 2022.<\/p>\n

Cooper’s win was announced at a gala event that marked the conclusion of the 2022 AFA Thrive Conference<\/a> on the Gold Coast, which has been the first in-person national AFA conference since 2019.<\/p>\n

This is also the first time the association’s Adviser of the Year Award has been presented since 2019, due to the restrictions associated with the pandemic. However, the award process itself has retained its rigour, through which Cooper (Cooper Wealth Management<\/a>, Qld)), and the two other Grand Finalists, Charles Badenach<\/strong> (Main Street Financial Solutions<\/a>, Tas) and Joseph Hoe<\/strong> (Wealthwise<\/a>, WA), emerged.<\/p>\n

A release from the association announcing the winner notes this award is presented to extraordinary and visionary advisers, which recognise qualities of leadership, innovation, customer focus and professional excellence.<\/p>\n

AFA CEO, Phil Anderson <\/strong>commented, “The AFA congratulates Felicity for winning this award and for her role as an ambassador for the profession in advocating for advice and the great outcomes it delivers.<\/p>\n

Anderson added the association was was privileged to have three outstanding finalists this year, “…each of whom are exceptional advisers with an absolute commitment to their profession and their communities.”<\/p>\n
