{"id":65100,"date":"2023-03-28T09:53:12","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T22:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=65100"},"modified":"2023-03-29T10:19:46","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T23:19:46","slug":"release-of-latest-financial-adviser-exam-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2023\/03\/28\/release-of-latest-financial-adviser-exam-results\/","title":{"rendered":"Release of Latest Financial Adviser Exam Results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just over two thirds of the candidates sitting the February 2023 financial advisers exam passed, according to ASIC.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the regulator outlines that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>192 candidates sat the February exam<\/li>\n<li>128 (67%) of candidates passed the February exam<\/li>\n<li>60% of the February candidates were sitting the exam for the first time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is an improvement on the pass rate from the November 2022 exam when, of the 282 candidates who sat that exam, 161 (57%) passed (see: <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2022\/12\/12\/november-adviser-exam-results-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November Adviser Exam Results<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Following the latest results, ASIC says that to date 20,425 individual candidates have sat the exam and more than 18,890 (93%) of candidates who have sat the exam have passed.<\/p>\n<p>Of those who have passed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over 15,850 are recorded as current financial advisers on ASIC\u2019s Financial Adviser Register, representing 99% of current advisers on the FAR<\/li>\n<li>Over 2,840 are ceased advisers on the FAR and may be re-authorised in the future<\/li>\n<li>Over 890 passed while completing their professional year of work and training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Next Exam Sitting<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASIC also notes that the next exam sitting will be held on 11 May 2023, and enrolments for that sitting will open on Monday 3 April and close on Friday 21 April.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2022\/12\/01\/dates-for-2023-financial-adviser-exams-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> for the dates of all 2023 exam sittings.
