A new adviser portal has transformed the way independent financial advisers interact with Aware Super, the fund says.<\/p>\n

It describes the adviser portal as setting \u201c\u2026a new standard for profit-to-member funds in providing seamless functionality and ease of use.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aware Super says the portal delivers a suite of features to help planners \u201c\u2026deliver exceptional service to their clients, supporting their businesses at a time when there\u2019s a desperate need in Australia for more financial advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

IFAs can use the portal for a wide range of processes, including changing investment options and managing contributions and other transactions on behalf of their clients who are among Aware Super\u2019s 1.1 million members.<\/p>\n

The fund’s Head of Business Development, Natalie Jarvis<\/strong>, says the launch of the portal \u201c\u2026marks a revolution in the way IFAs could work with profit-to-member funds.”<\/p>\n

Among the functions available through the new portal, advisers can:<\/p>\n

  • View their client dashboards<\/li>\n
  • Change investment options for clients<\/li>\n
  • Manage client contributions<\/li>\n
  • Track actions requested on behalf of clients<\/li>\n
  • Request a withdrawal benefit quote<\/li>\n
  • View clients\u2019 Centrelink payment schedules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Jarvis says more functionality will follow, noting the fund has launched the portal “..as an integral part of our comprehensive digital transformation project, and we\u2019re really just scratching the surface of the benefits it will deliver.\u201d<\/p>\n

    She adds that advisers will soon be able to use the portal to set up new accounts for clients, enabling them to be digital first and less reliant on call centres.<\/p>\n
