There are just 97 fewer advisers than there were at the start of 2023, compared with a loss of nearly 1,300 at the same time in the 2022 calendar year.<\/p>\n

Wealth Data\u2019s<\/a> Financial Adviser Movements Fast Facts<\/em> table for the calendar year to date, shows current advisers now sit at 15,701 compared with 15,798 at the start of the\u00a0 year.<\/p>\n

In comparison in the prior period adviser numbers had fallen by 1,288 dropping from 17,171 at the start of 2022 to reach 15,883 in October 2022, a fall of 7.5%.<\/p>\n

The drop in the current calendar year equals just an 0.61% fall, Wealth Data\u2019s table shows.<\/p>\n

The same Wealth Data chart also shows that in the calendar year to date the industry has seen 89 new licensees emerge although 47 licensees ceased.<\/p>\n
