MLC Life Insurance has appointed experienced technology executive Mirella Robinson<\/strong> to the newly created Chief Technology Officer role as part of its Executive Team.<\/p>\n

Robinson is a senior technology executive with over 20 years\u2019 experience spanning various industries including financial services, telecommunications, media and retail energy.<\/p>\n

She joins MLC Life Insurance from Cbus where she served as Chief Information and Technology Officer, evolving their technology and data strategy to leverage machine learning and AI practices, as well as\u00a0 delivering two fund mergers and complex system integrations.<\/p>\n

Kent Griffin<\/strong>, CEO of MLC Life Insurance, says that given the importance of technology \u201c\u2026in delivering our strategy that puts the customer at the centre of what we do, I\u2019m excited to draw from [Robinson’s] impressive experience as we create this crucial role.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company says the CTO role will contribute to the significant body of work being undertaken by the business to further improve the systems, processes and technology needed to offer an even better experience for advisers and customers, as well as superannuation funds, trustees and their members.<\/p>\n
