It was established in 2009 and was formerly an authorised representative of Synchron.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70411\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70411\" style=\"width: 151px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/03\/terry-Johnson-e1710276813271.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-70411\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/03\/terry-Johnson-e1710276813271.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"151\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70411\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Terry Johnson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Johnson\u2019s daughter, <strong>Mia Inglis<\/strong> and son, <strong>Ben Johnson<\/strong>, are both advisers in the practice, which also has three support staff.<\/p>\n<p>Dirigere Advisory relaunched as Intelligent Planning in January 2024 (see: <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2024\/01\/30\/boutique-financial-licensing-offer-launched\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boutique Financial Licensing Offer Launched<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Intelligent Planning\u2019s Advice Distribution Manager, <strong>Matthew Wallis<\/strong>, says Keyman was the NSW winner of the AFA\u2019s 2021 Great Advice Award &#8220;&#8230;and they\u2019re a great bunch of people, highly thought of in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other practices with Intelligent Planning include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wallis\u2019 Sydney-based business, Beta Advice<\/li>\n<li>Canberra-based Hayes &amp; Co, operated by <strong>Katherine Hayes<\/strong>, who also sits on the FAAA Board<\/li>\n<li>Sydney-based holistic practice 1981, owned by <strong>Benjamin Brookes<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Perth group, NOR Financial, which services the medical fraternity, owned by <strong>Shaun Clements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70412\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70412\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/03\/Matthew-Wallis-e1710277006375.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70412\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/03\/Matthew-Wallis-e1710277006375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70412\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Matthew Wallis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wallis said as one of the first financial advice practices to join Intelligent Planning, Keyman has been allocated a part-share.<\/p>\n<p>A part-share gives the first practices \u201c\u2026a bit of ownership in the group and therefore the opportunity to have a say in how we run the business. We\u2019re finding that our offer, which also includes a flat licence pricing model, and a friendly, community-type atmosphere is something advisers really like.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Intelligent Planning has three founding members including CEO, <strong>Phil Osborne<\/strong>, CIO, <strong>Damian Grimes<\/strong> and Wallis.<\/p>\n<p>It expects to make an announcement about bringing another practice on board within a few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The company adds that \u201c\u2026Intelligent Planning will be part of Intelligent Money Partnership, an integrated financial services offer, currently in development.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boutique financial services group, Intelligent Planning, has welcomed NSW risk-focussed financial advice practice, Keyman Financial Services to the group.
