{"id":71921,"date":"2024-06-14T10:20:54","date_gmt":"2024-06-14T00:20:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=71921"},"modified":"2024-06-18T13:40:41","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T03:40:41","slug":"partnership-creates-simple-insurance-application-solution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2024\/06\/14\/partnership-creates-simple-insurance-application-solution\/","title":{"rendered":"Partnership Creates Simple Insurance Application Solution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DASH Technology Group and MetLife Australia have partnered to create a new insurance solution that uses technology intended to simplify how insurance is offered and applied for by Super Simplifier customers.<\/p>\n<p>The two companies say the solution leverages the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dash.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DASH<\/a> platform to streamline the insurance process for advisers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71924\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71924\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/06\/Tim-Rogers2-e1718321692507.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-71924\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/06\/Tim-Rogers2-e1718321692507.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tim Rogers &#8230;with this solution &#8230; advisers can deliver much needed personal insurance advice<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It utilises DASH\u2019s investment platform \u201c\u2026to provide advisers with immediate access to quote, apply, view, and alter client insurance details, powered by the MetLife online application system.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Super Simplifier, issued by Equity Trustees Superannuation, is a personal superannuation account enabling people to build their preferred investment strategy in consultation with their authorised financial adviser.<\/p>\n<p>It offers customers three life insurance options via MetLife:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Life and Terminal Illness cover<\/li>\n<li>Total and Permanent Disablement cover<\/li>\n<li>Income Protection cover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The companies say the MetLife insurance offer is designed specifically for members of Super Simplifier to include features such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 75% replacement ratio plus up to 10% superannuation contributions for IP cover, subject to the minimum and maximum monthly benefit amounts<\/li>\n<li>TPD payments do not offset IP payments<\/li>\n<li>Access to MetLife\u2019s health and wellbeing offering, 360Health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DASH Head of Distribution, <strong>Tim Rogers<\/strong>, says this insurance product is a \u201c\u2026simple, advised solution that is aimed at addressing the under-insurance problem amongst Australians.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71926\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71926\" style=\"width: 152px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/06\/meray-el-khoury2-e1718322322643.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-71926\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2024\/06\/meray-el-khoury2-e1718322322643-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"152\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71926\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Meray El-Khoury &#8230; able to make it quick and easy for advisers to secure insurance for their clients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He says many advisers have left the personal insurance advice space in more recent years due to growing complexity \u201c\u2026but with this solution now in the market, they can deliver much needed personal insurance advice \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meray El-Khoury<\/strong>, Chief Insurance Officer, MetLife Australia, says the company offers \u201c\u2026fit-for-purpose insurance products that are easy to access and deliver value, by leveraging digital solutions to help our customers build a more confident future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She says working with DASH \u201c\u2026means we are able to make it quick and easy for advisers to secure insurance for their clients.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DASH Technology Group and MetLife Australia have partnered to create a new insurance solution that uses technology intended to simplify how insurance is offered and applied for by Super Simplifier customers.
