AMP has\u00a0significantly expanded numbers within\u00a0its\u00a0protection sales team that serves the insurer’s independent adviser channel.<\/p>\n

Five new appointments have been made, headlined by confirmation of the appointment of Graham Burnard<\/strong> to the role of Head of IFA Protection Sales.<\/p>\n

Graham Burnard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Before joining AMP, Mr Burnard ran his own consultancy for two years and prior to that\u00a0held senior sales roles at Asteron, Australian Wealth Management and Zurich.<\/p>\n

Also appointed\u00a0have been:<\/p>\n

Matt Styles<\/strong>: Promoted to Regional Manager VIC\/TAS. Mr Styles has been with AMP for 12 months, and has previous experience at CommInsure, IOOF and National Mutual.<\/p>\n

Gavin Glozier<\/strong>: Regional Leader NSW. Mr Glozier’s background includes BDM roles at Macquarie Life and Asteron.<\/p>\n

Jamie-Lee Fraser<\/strong>: NSW\/ACT BDM. Ms Fraser joins AMP from CommInsure, where she was a member of its Key Accounts team.<\/p>\n

Stephen Nguyen<\/strong>: BDM in VIC\/TAS. Mr Nguyen was previously with Aviva and has a background in economics and para-planning.<\/p>\n

AMP advises these appointments have been generated by increased demand following the May 2010 launch of its enhanced and newly-branded product offer to independent advisers (see: Major AMP Product, Services, Image Overhaul<\/a>).<\/p>\n
