TAL paid $4.7bn in claims to 54,000 customers and their families in the 12 months to 31 March 2025 according to figures released by the firm.<\/p>\n

Living insurance, including IP and TPD, made up 74% of total claims, and for the fourth year in a row, mental health was the leading cause of claims (21%), followed by cancer (17%) and injuries or fractures (15%).<\/p>\n

TAL Chief Claims Officer Georgina Croft<\/strong> says the firm is blending digital innovation with human support to deliver a \u201cfaster, more personalised experience\u201d.<\/p>\n

The firm is also expanding access to health and recovery services through its Health for Life platform.<\/p>\n

GM of Health Services Dr Priya Chagan<\/strong> reports increased engagement, with thousands of customers connected to recovery providers and preventative care.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur programs achieved an 80% return-to-health and work success rate last year,\u201d said Dr Chagan.<\/p>\n
