One in three (33%) disagree with this proposition, however, with 8% yet to make up their mind.<\/p>\n<p>This conversation flows from recent research indicating 4,000+ advisers who don&#8217;t meet the experienced practitioner requirements are yet to formalise their minimum educational qualifications required before year&#8217;s end.<\/p>\n<p>It also continues the debate from earlier this year when we asked you the same question, and which delivered a similar result:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_77552\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-77552\" style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2025\/06\/250602-General-Advice-Call.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-77552\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2025\/06\/250602-General-Advice-Call.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2025\/06\/250602-General-Advice-Call.png 690w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2025\/06\/250602-General-Advice-Call-300x85.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-77552\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The final result of the same poll we asked you to consider in March this year. Three months on, there has been little change, with sentiment seeming to consolidate slightly in support of the proposition around general advice as an alternative pathway for some advisers and as an alternative solution for life insurance new business&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This current poll result has been welcomed by Australian Advisory&#8217;s Operations Manager, <strong>Nathan Kassouah<\/strong>, who says the general advice proposition is gaining ground as what he describes to be a flexible, compliant, and scalable alternative that complements traditional full advice:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is growing momentum behind the general advice model, but we still see a significant gap in understanding\u2014particularly among advisers who are unsure or opposed to it,\u201d says Kassouah (see: <a href=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2025\/06\/03\/renewed-call-for-advisers-to-consider-the-general-advice-pathway\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Renewed Call for Advisers to Consider General Advice Pathway<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>He stresses that general advice is not a diluted version of personal advice, but a distinct service model focused on educating and empowering clients:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeneral Advice is about educating clients on their insurance options to help them make informed decisions.
