{"id":79392,"date":"2025-09-29T13:11:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T03:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=79392"},"modified":"2025-09-29T21:40:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T11:40:41","slug":"resolution-life-launches-cover-adjustment-tool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2025\/09\/29\/resolution-life-launches-cover-adjustment-tool\/","title":{"rendered":"Resolution Life Launches Cover Adjustment Tool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a move designed to facilitate the management of in-force policies, Resolution Life Australia has introduced two new initiatives to give customers flexibility in altering their insurance cover.<\/p>\n<p>The insurer, which predominantly operates a sinking-lid business model, has rolled out a cover adjustment tool in its My Resolution Life portal so clients can to change cover amounts.<\/p>\n<p>While updated quotes are generated instantly, final changes are subject to written confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>The feature is available for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elevate Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Resolution Life Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Risk Protection Package<\/li>\n<li>Owner\/Driver Income Protection<\/li>\n<li>Progressive Life Plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other product changes must still be requested via the existing cover change form.<\/p>\n<p>In a further update, the firm has introduced a seven-business-day cooling-off period for customers who request to reduce their cover or cancel a policy.<\/p>\n<p>Requests are processed immediately, but clients may reverse their decision within the cooling-off period by contacting the insurer directly and repaying any refunded premiums.
