Fuzion Group has launched Referral Hub<\/em>, an automated digital platform designed to simplify how financial advisers, mortgage brokers, accountants, and other professionals refer clients for life insurance, finance, and lending services.<\/p>\n

Fuzion Group MD, Nick Harper<\/strong>, said the new portal evolved from his firm\u2019s risk insurance business, where the need for easier, better-quality referrals became increasingly clear. \u201cTraditionally, mortgage brokers referred all their risk insurance clients to us manually,\u201d Harper explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe built a digital portal for them to make that process easier \u2013 and then realised the same system could work for advisers, accountants and real estate agents.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through the Referral Hub, referrers can submit client details in less than a minute via desktop or mobile. Once a referral is lodged, the client and Fuzion team are automatically notified, creating an immediate digital connection and improving engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a fully digital process \u2013 no printing or manual follow-up \u2013 and clients know straight away that someone will call them,\u201d said Harper. \u201cAs a result, engagement rates, close rates and follow-up outcomes have all improved.\u201d<\/p>\n

The platform enables professionals to refer clients for a broad range of non-core services, including personal, investment, and commercial lending, asset finance, and life insurance advice. Referral fees are available where permitted by licensee arrangements, typically paid to the corporate authorised representative or, in some cases, another nominated entity such as a community organisation.<\/p>\n

Harper emphasised that the system is designed around non-reciprocal<\/em> referral relationships. \u201cWe don\u2019t send business back to advisers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey can refer their clients through the Hub, track progress online, and, if they choose, receive a referral fee. This removes the pressure and breakdowns that can happen with reciprocal arrangements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Each user has access to a secure dashboard showing referral status, progress notes and commission tracking. Admin staff can also be added to submit referrals on behalf of advisers or brokers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want it to be easy for referrers to see where things are at without having to chase us for updates,\u201d Harper said. “The referrer is automatically notified of any major milestone changes in the referrer status.”<\/p>\n

More than 300 users are already registered on the system, with Fuzion Group targeting 500 by year-end. Harper said the firm is continuing to enhance the platform based on user feedback, focusing on functionality that helps professionals expand their client offering without additional compliance or administrative burden.<\/p>\n
