Swanson is the senior financial adviser and director of the firm and started her career in 1987.<\/p>\n<p>A panel of judges said they were impressed with her dedication and advocacy for the profession, purpose-built business practices around the client journey, and overall contribution to the financial advice profession.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_80301\" <strong>Mark O\u2019Flynn<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxlade.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxlade Financial<\/a>, Queensland<\/li>\n<li>Professional Practice of the year: <a href=\"https:\/\/boutiqueadvisers.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boutique Advisers Private Wealth<\/a> in WA, with the firm&#8217;s MD <strong>Gary Hasler<\/strong> accepting the award<\/li>\n<li>Inspire Women \u2013 Excellence in Advice award: <strong>Kelly King<\/strong>, Director and Senior Wealth Adviser, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwas.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iconic Wealth<\/a> in WA<\/li>\n<li>Gen Next Rising Star of the year: <strong>Aayush Sharma<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frostfp.com.au\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frost Financial Services<\/a>,\u00a0NT<\/li>\n<li>University Student of the year: <strong>Katherine Mitterer<\/strong> from Queensland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FAAA CEO <strong>Sarah Abood<\/strong> said: \u201cThe FAAA awards recognise excellence in the financial advice profession and celebrate those demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and care, and I congratulate all the winners and finalists at this year\u2019s awards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are showcasing the positive and life-changing impact that financial advisers can have, particularly in
