To celebrate the milestone, TAL\u2019s four foundation partners have shared $100,000 in anniversary grants.<\/p>\n<p>TAL Chief Customer &amp; Brand Officer and Community Foundation Chair, <strong>Alex Homer<\/strong>, said: \u201cWhile we&#8217;re proud of what we&#8217;ve achieved with our partners and TAL people so far, there&#8217;s more work ahead. Our ten-year anniversary marks a renewed commitment to continue this important work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Among the recipients is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyingdoctor.org.au\/nswact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Royal Flying Doctor Service<\/a> that was awarded $40,000 to extend its Guiding Rural Outback Wellbeing (GROW) program, which helps children in remote communities learn to grow food.<\/p>\n<p>Other recipients who received $20,000 each were:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_58777\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-58777\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-58777\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2021\/12\/Alex-Homer-Chief-Customer-and-Brand-Officer-TAL-002-e1671417019519.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2021\/12\/Alex-Homer-Chief-Customer-and-Brand-Officer-TAL-002-e1671417019519.jpg 384w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2021\/12\/Alex-Homer-Chief-Customer-and-Brand-Officer-TAL-002-e1671417019519-250x300.jpg 250w, https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2021\/12\/Alex-Homer-Chief-Customer-and-Brand-Officer-TAL-002-e1671417019519-350x420.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-58777\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alex Homer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/abcn.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Australian Business and Community Network<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nasca.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Mental health organisation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sane.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SANE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over the past decade, thousands of TAL employees have worked alongside partner organisations providing mentorship, volunteering, matched giving, and investment in community programs.<\/p>\n<p>The TAL Community Foundation&#8217;s contributions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$8m in contributions and in-kind value to community causes<\/li>\n<li>137 community charities supported<\/li>\n<li>3,000+ TAL employee volunteer participation<\/li>\n<li>21,000 volunteer hours contributed to community projects across AustraliaHomer said: &#8220;Looking forward, the TAL Community Foundation is focused on helping our partners expand the reach and impact of the incredible work they do in their communities, and backing initiatives that make a lasting difference.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TAL Community Foundation has contributed more than $8m and 21,000 volunteer hours to support Australian communities over the past 10 years.
