In the third and final of company profiles featuring firms shortlisted to win the inaugural PPS Mutual Risk Practice of the Year Award<\/a> we\u00a0look at Personal Risk Professionals<\/a> and Skye Wealth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brisbane-based Personal Risk Professionals (PRP) has been shortlisted among six national finalists in part for its focused approach to life insurance advice and strong reputation among professional partners.<\/p>\n

Established in 2009, the firm operates exclusively in personal and business insurance, positioning itself as an expert for a wide range of referring partners, including financial planners, wealth advisers, accountants, finance brokers, and general insurance brokers.<\/p>\n

These partners rely on PRP to provide dedicated risk advice for their clients, from initial education and needs analysis through to annual reviews, and claims support.<\/p>\n

Victorian-based Skye Wealth has been shortlisted for this year\u2019s national award on the strength of its fully digital advice model and its growing impact in a sector where many Australians still lack basic life insurance protection.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2020 by Phil Thompson<\/strong>, the firm advises exclusively on personal insurance and operates under its own AFSL, Skye Money.<\/p>\n

The business delivers insurance advice entirely online, allowing clients \u2013 many of them young professionals, with an average age of 36 \u2013 to receive guidance without appointments, travel, or traditional paperwork.<\/p>\n
