However, Sydney-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gomarloo.com\/au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marloo<\/a>, which launched its AI assistant for financial advisers in April last year, is investing heavily in this area.<\/p>\n<p>Marloo allows advisers to upload their own templates, including SOAs, review letters, and standard client communications. Advisers record client consultations \u2013 either in person using an app or during virtual meetings \u2013\u202fand instruct the system to do the heavy lifting. The output is a complete advice document, including personalised drafting, complex calculations, and firm branding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s completely flexible and malleable to work directly within an adviser\u2019s practice,\u201d says Marloo&#8217;s Growth Lead <strong>Kailee Maloney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81119\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81119\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-81119\" src=\"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/files\/2026\/02\/Kailee-Maloney.jpeg\" alt=\"Kailee Maloney, growth lead at Marloo.\" width=\"150\" height=\"180\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81119\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kailee Maloney<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAdvisers can create a template that underlies their summaries\u2026 exactly reflecting the different subjects they need it to, and what the tone of that is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt syncs with your calendar. So every time you have a virtual meeting, Marloo pops up in the waiting room and will record the meeting. When you go back into your Marloo dashboard, the transcript is there ready for you to generate your custom filenotes in one-click.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;Advisers always have the final say&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIf you were producing an SOA then you would use your own template. It would have the retained structure, standard text, and then the advisers\u2019 instructions about what the individualised recommendations are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maloney stresses the adviser remains accountable for any material sent to clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarloo is a tool,\u201d she says. \u201cAdvisers always have the final say and the final review of any document.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Part of Marloo\u2019s compliance proposition rests on traceability. Each document draft is linked to a recorded meeting and transcript, which Maloney describes as \u201cthe source of truth\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The greater the input, the greater the output&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A feature known as Ask Marloo allows users to interrogate a draft SOA and locate the underlying source material behind particular sections (e.g. product research, modelling, previous meetings). Advisers can query where a reference originated and retrieve the relevant transcript or uploaded document.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe greater the input, the greater the output,\u201d says Maloney, likening the process to briefing a junior paraplanner, &#8220;&#8230;be really clear, really direct, leave very little room for interpretation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashley Pickett<\/strong> of Everest Wealth, said in a case study shared by Maloney with <em>Riskinfo<\/em> that the largest value of Marloo \u201c\u2026is in being able to generate an SOA within a couple hours of the client meeting\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Maloney says the next steps for Marloo include email integration, and tasks &amp; reminders.<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor\u2019s note: Marloo will be one of the three AI firms demonstrating its offer at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riskinfocus.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Riskinfocus 26<\/a> events next month.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While AI-powered voice transcription is now commonplace across the advice landscape, combining it with automated document production remains relatively new territory.
