{"id":83310,"date":"2026-07-28T15:58:31","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T05:58:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/?p=83310"},"modified":"2026-07-30T16:32:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T06:32:30","slug":"adviser-productivity-must-improve-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riskinfo.com.au\/news\/2026\/07\/28\/adviser-productivity-must-improve-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Adviser Productivity Must Improve &#8211; Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While the financial advice profession has emerged from years of contraction, a new report from <a href=\"https:\/\/wealthdata.com.au\/blog-1\/financial-adviser-market-report-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Padua Wealth Data<\/a> says improving adviser productivity is the industry&#8217;s biggest challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than simply rebuilding adviser numbers, the report concludes the profession must improve productivity if it is to meet consumer demand.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/wealthdata.com.au\/blog-1\/financial-adviser-market-report-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Australian Financial Adviser Market<\/em><\/a> report finds the country&#8217;s adviser population has largely stabilised at a widely-reported 15,000 following the post-Royal Commission collapse.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;the pipeline of younger advisers remains too small&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the report&#8217;s authors caution this should not be mistaken for recovery as adviser numbers sit well below pre-2019 levels.
