A process previously taking one practice between 45 and 90 minutes can now, according to Fabris, be drafted by Risk Companion in under a minute for the adviser to review, using information already captured through the advice process.

Fabris says the pre-assessment process has drawn a strong response from advisers in demonstrations to date. Health, occupation and lifestyle details captured once in the fact find are used to prepare anonymised pre-assessment requests, which he says means “…less back-and-forth with the client and the insurer before a recommendation is made.”

Having now moved beyond its pilot phase, Fabris says Risk Companion is being rolled out to additional practices.
