Peter Sobels has worked in the financial services industry for twenty five years, working with life insurance companies and research groups. In 2008 he launched riskinfo as a dedicated online news and information service for the life insurance and financial services industry, particularly for advisers.
In 2010 Peter expanded his service with the launch of riskinfo Magazine, which is published every quarter.
Peter is passionate about the life insurance industry and its importance to millions of Australians, their families and businesses.

Emily Saint-Smith - Journalist
Emily Saint-Smith joined riskinfo in 2010.
She first became interested in the life insurance industry while working at Aviva (now MLC) in Queensland. After relocating to Sydney, Emily honed her skills in marketing roles for insurers including ING (now OnePath) and BT Financial Group.
Along with writing regularly for riskinfo’s weekly online news and quarterly magazine publications, Emily is also completing a Masters degree in Creative Writing.
She is passionate about raising the profile of financial advice in the Australian market.

Rhiannon Lucas - Operations Manager
Rhiannon Lucas has worked in the financial services sector for thirteen years, mostly in management roles in the lending and retail banking divisions at ANZ Bank. During her time at ANZ, she gained exposure to the financial planning industry and the crucial role that life insurance plays in every financial plan.
Rhiannon joined riskinfo at the beginning of 2010 and has since taken on the role of Operations Manager.
Like her colleagues, Rhiannon is passionate about working within an environment that is focused on delivering the latest risk news and information to advisers and dealer groups who serve the life insurance needs of their clients.
