AIA Australia will waive the policy fee for two years for new customers who apply for a Priority Protection policy before the end of the year.
The life insurer will offer the policy fee waiver under a new campaign titled ‘Take a Break’, which will save eligible clients at least $82.53 per year, provided they apply for a new business Priority Protection or Priority Protection for Platform Investors policy by 31 December 2018.
Further savings will also be available to eligible clients who opt to attach AIA Vitality to their policy after the insurer increased the AIA Vitality initial Lump Sun discount from 12.5 per cent to 15 per cent in late July (see: AIA Australia Increase Premium Discount For Vitality Members).
The campaign, which started on 3 September, will not apply for existing policy alterations, nor for any cancel and replace applications, and coincides with the end of a similar campaign.
The ‘Two for Two’ campaign, which started in December 2017, offered to waive policy fees as well as the annual AIA Vitality fees (see: AIA Australia Waives New Policy, Vitality Fees) and concluded on 31 August (see: AIA Extends Fee Waiver Offer For Second Time).
AIA Australia Chief Retail Insurance Officer, Pina Sciarrone said the new offer “…provides a great head start to eligible clients by reducing their upfront costs, allowing them to re-direct the money to where they need it most”.
