Ross Vanderwolf Takes MDRT Reins

Queensland adviser, Ross Vanderwolf, has commenced his one-year term as the global President of the Million Dollar Round Table organisation.

Vanderwolf has become the 93rd President of MDRT, which was founded in the US in 1927. He is the first Australian to be appointed to the organisation’s five-person Executive Committee, which serves the interests of its more than 66,000 advice practitioner members across 72 countries.

He will lead MDRT through a twelve-month period of change, with respect to both the organisation and the regulatory winds of change that are sweeping across many of the world’s financial services sectors including Australia, New Zealand, North America, the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Changes within the organisation itself reflect its significant growth over recent years, culminating in the establishment of MDRT’s inaugural Global Conference, which will take place in Sydney from 1 – 4 September 2019, and which will coincide with the completion of Vanderwolf’s twelve-month tenure as MDRT President.

Before the first-ever MDRT Global Conference in Sydney next year is MDRT’s Annual Meeting, which is to be held in Miami Beach Florida, from June 9 – June 12, over which Vanderwolf will preside.

As we’ve said before, every adviser should experience the MDRT Annual Meeting at least once during their career. With the initiative that is the inaugural MDRT Global Conference, however, we strongly encourage Australian and New Zealand advisers to experience what the MDRT organisation can offer – how it can add value for you – especially when this opportunity will be on your doorstep in Sydney in September 2019.
