Financial advisers will be able to question the groups providing education options to financial advisers as part of a new initiative by the AFA.

AFA Conference Chair, Michael Nowak

The Association has invited six education providers to be part of the first Meet the Educators session at its upcoming National Adviser Conference on the Gold Coast.

AFA Conference Chair, Michael Nowak, said the session was designed to help AFA members understand the various education options available to them. “Each adviser has a different background, a different experience and a different set of skills, so we know that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work,” he said.

Education providers in attendance will be:

  • Kaplan Professional
  • Deakin University
  • Griffith University
  • Western Sydney University
  • Charles Sturt University
  • Monarch/University of New England.

Each education provider will explain how they will support advisers in meeting higher education requirements during the roundtable sessions where advisers can ask questions.

The 40-minute roundtable session with the education providers will run alongside the Meet the InnovatorsMeet the Professionals and Meet the Mentors roundtables on 12 October, at the conference.
