Latest Poll – Is Coronavirus Impacting?

With the Coronavirus outbreak dominating global news channels and with Governments around the world taking strong measures to contain the disease, our latest poll is asking if advisers are detecting any increased interest in life insurance from the community (see: Coronavirus – What it Means For Policies).

The World Health Organisation has described Coronavirus as a global public health emergency and our canvassing of Australian life insurers has found there are no exclusions in existing life insurance policies that would prevent the policy paying out for a claim related to Coronavirus.

So, we are wondering whether this outbreak is having any impact? Is a global event of this scale increasing interest in the benefits a life policy can bring to a policyholder’s family in the event of a death?
