Have you detected any increased interest in life insurance from the community because of the Coronavirus outbreak?
- No (59%)
- Yes (26%)
- Not sure (15%)

The World Health Organisation has described Coronavirus as a global public health emergency and our canvassing of Australian life insurers has found there are no exclusions in existing life insurance policies that would prevent the policy paying out for a claim related to Coronavirus.
So, we are wondering whether this outbreak is having any impact? Is a global event of this scale increasing interest in the benefits a life policy can bring to a policyholder’s family in the event of a death?
Let us know what you think and we’ll report back next week…
