Australian financial advisers who want to spread their educational and networking wings more widely in 2023 could look towards the Million Dollar Round Table events in Nashville or Singapore.
The organisation’s website points towards:
- 25-28 June, 2023: MDRT Annual Meeting, Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The roundtable describes its Annual Meeting as gathering thousands of its members from around the world to create an event “…that stimulates growth through learning, networking and sharing innovative ideas.” It says attendees “…hear inspiring speakers, learn insights from some of the best minds in the world, and share their best practices and innovations with peers to help attain new levels of success.”
- 27–30 August, 2023: MDRT Global Conference, Singapore. The organisation says its Global Conference “…extends the opportunity for members from all around the world, especially from the Asia-Pacific region, to come together to hear inspiring industry leaders address local and global trends, and exchange innovative ideas to advance their businesses.”
MDRT Adviser Education in Australia
Closer to home – and as we reported last month – the Australian MDRT organisation will be delivering a series of events in the coming months that will offer education and coaching services for both emerging and established advisers.
As one key element in its new national plan, the organisation will be delivering a series of presentations across four states designed to train and upskill advisers with the aim of helping them enhance their client value propositions and to build and maintain successful advice businesses.
Generation Life, which is headed by former Olympic swimming great, Grant Hackett, has been announced as MDRT Australia’s 2023 Education partner and will be joining the organisation to present this series of coaching and education events.

I have always said the MDRT is the Olympics of the financial services industry and the Yearly June Annual Meeting and October Global Meetings is where the best of the best Global MDRT advisers meet each year to share their best ideas on practice management, whole person, estate planning and product specific focus sessions for each country. I have heard some of the best speakers in the world present on the Main Platform on topics on Principled Centered Leadership, motivational, inspirational. Whole Person concepts to name a few. The Ethos of the MDRT is about “sharing and caring”, and “adding real value to the lives of our loved ones and the people we serve”.
How fitting is it then that one of Australia’s Best Swimming Olympians Grant Hackett now CEO of Generation Life has seen the MDRT a place of real value where his group will add further value in providing education and coaching events.
