New Platform Aims to Simplify Life Insurance and Support Advisers

A new platform for consumers is offering plain-language information on life insurance and providing advisers an opportunity to raise their profile.

The Life Insurance Guide arrives at a challenging time for the sector, with financial adviser numbers at historic lows and many consumers reporting uncertainty about where to turn for guidance.

Marc Fabris, a financial services veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience, is behind the platform and said the initiative is designed to cut through the complexity of life insurance while reinforcing the value of professional advice.

We’re helping close the gap in consumer education…

“Life insurance is often misunderstood and seen as complex,” said Fabris. “Our aim is to simplify the conversation – giving people knowledge and confidence and then helping them connect with professional advisers when they’re ready to take the next step.”

He said the Life Insurance Guide site provides impartial content explaining the different ways life insurance can be accessed.

The platform features:

  • Explanations of life insurance
  • Step-by-step insights of the typical journey from first thinking about cover through to applying and claiming
  • Practical resources advisers can share or reference to support client conversations
  • Adviser-contributed content
  • Adviser profiles – making risk-focused advisers easier to find

“It’s wonderful to see niche content online that helps consumers and referral partners understand the importance of insurance, without over-complicating it,” said Trish Gregory of Hayes & Co Insurance Services.

Fabris, who is also the founder of Risk Hub, said: “We’re helping close the gap in consumer education with clear, neutral information that isn’t sales-driven, while also providing content advisers can see as genuinely supporting their work.”
