Kaplan’s Final FAS Study Dates Confirmed

Advisers who need to complete the FAS education requirements by 1 January 2026, to continue providing personal advice to retail clients, might be helped by a range of intensive study periods offered by Kaplan Professional.

The first of two six-week courses starts 6 October, with the final one of the year beginning 27 October. Results will be released on 9 and 15 December respectively, in time for the year-end cut-off for advisers with more than 10-years’ industry experience.

All eight core subjects of the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning are available for enrolment, and the firm’s CEO Brian Knight recommends advisers complete one subject at a time.

However, he says exceptions can be made for those who have multiple subjects to complete if they believe they can manage the workload.

“We recognise this is a critical moment for advisers who are still finalising their studies,” said Knight.

“By offering two additional intensive six-week intakes before the deadline, we are providing advisers every possible chance to finish on time while maintaining the same high academic standards.”

Kaplan Professional has supported more than 90 per cent of the market through this transition.
