Wealth Architects is now operating under the Bombora Advice AFSL. Leigh Quade, Wealth Architects’ Head of Strategic Partnerships, said the arrangement provides an incentive for life insurance specialists to consider operating under the firm’s banner or alliance framework.

Luke Considine, Wealth Architects Head of Life Insurance, said while self-licensing was considered, operating under the Bombora AFSL meant the firm could focus its resources on the business “…and the benefits were immediate”.

“Looking to the future, Wealth Architects is a financial planning and life insurance business with immense potential to grow organically and through acquisition,” said Considine. “In the short-term, we are currently in the final stages of a number of exciting acquisitions.

“However, in the long-term we see the biggest potential for organic growth being from life insurance via alliances and joint ventures with professional advisory businesses seeking access to our risk specialists.”

Founded in 2013, Wealth Architects began as a privately-owned boutique financial advisory practice. Today it operates from offices in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. In addition, the group operates in New Zealand from offices in Auckland and Christchurch.
