The future independent Chair of Acenda has been appointed with Craig Dunn having accepted the position.

Dunn’s appointment follows Nippon Life’s announcement last December that it will acquire Resolution Life subject to regulatory approvals.

Completion of the merger is expected to occur in the second half of this year, at which time the two entities will trade as Acenda and become one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest life insurance businesses.
