Edney Ryan Wealth Management, the advice arm of Edney Ryan Group, is merging with Minchin Moore Private Wealth.
Both businesses are based in Sydney and the merged firm, which will have 23 advisers, will operate under the Minchin Moore brand.
Mark Minchin, the firm’s Managing Partner, said insurance is an integral part of the firm’s wealth management offering.
“Our goal is to build a truly multi-generational advice practice that provides continuity not only across market cycles but across generations of families,” he said
“Families are looking for continuity and tenure with their professional advice relationship. They think in decades not years, and want to know the firm will be around to serve their grandchildren.”
He said the merger brings together two businesses that operate in very similar ways when it comes to advice and client relationships.
“We’ve each built firms we’re proud of, with a strong focus on doing the right thing for clients over the long term.”
