Zurich has beefed up its underwriting and sales capability with the recent appointment of a number of new staff in Victoria and New South Wales.
In New South Wales Charles Harris, previously with Tower Australia, joins the Zurich team as Underwriting Manager. Nick Cahill joins the insurer’s sales team as a Business Development Associate, and Simon Cranley has been appointed to the role of Technical Underwriting Manager.
Shireen Dixon and Maha Raslan, along with another two managerial underwriting staff, will join the Victorian team.
Zurich’s General Manager – Life Risk, Colin Morgan, said the appointments have been made in response to Zurich’s rapid growth over the past 12 months.
“Zurich is one of the largest global players in the life risk space and our aim is to build on our local capabilities and, at the same time, utilise Zurich’s regional and worldwide capabilities to increase our market share,” said Mr Morgan.
