Advisers have been given access to 10 new workshops and webinars with a total of 33 courses available either in person, online or on-demand during 2017, with most courses available free of charge except for Master Classes which attract a fee that is donated to charity.

While the courses have CPD points available advisers can gain credit towards degree qualifications with Charles Sturt University when units are taken at the Master Class level and upon completion of a relevant case study.

The courses are also accredited by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) and Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) and have been developed by a dedicated technical team within TAL to ensure they are relevant to advisers and the insurance industry.

TAL General Manager, Retail Distribution, Niall McConville said the academy, now in its third year, had already seen more than 9,000 attendances at courses since launching and courses have continued to be developed based on feedback received by advisers using the courses.
