Jenny Brown Named as MDRT Australia Chair

MDRT Australia has announced that Melbourne based financial adviser, Jenny Brown, of JBS Financial Strategists, has taken on the role of Chair, succeeding Adelaide adviser, Adam McCann.

Brown, who presented a Focus Session at the 2017 MDRT Annual Meeting earlier this year, stepped into the role on 1 September, succeeding McCann who held the voluntary position since September 2015.

In doing so, Brown has vacated her position as MDRT Victoria State Chair which has in turn been filled by Geelong based adviser, Jamie McIntyre of Mac Financial.

The other state chairs – Dominique Schuh(Qld), Mathew Gale (NSW), Steven Genoff (SA), and Peter Tucker (WA) – remain unchanged and Ross Hultgren and Mathew Fogarty will continue as Regional Chair and Oceania Chair, respectively.

Appointments have also been made to the MDRT’s Executive Committee with James D. Pittman of Portland, Oregon named as the 92nd President, and Ian Green of London, England named as Secretary.

Queensland based adviser, Ross Vanderwolf, will serve as First Vice President and Regina Bedoya of Juno Beach, Florida will serve as Second Vice President.

Pittman is a 43-year MDRT member with 16 Court of the Table and five Top of the Table qualifications. A Platinum Knight of the MDRT Foundation, he is also a member of its Inner Circle Society, a distinguished group of donors, and has served on its Board of Trustees.

Green is a 19-year MDRT member with five Court of the Table and 11 Top of the Table qualifications, a Diamond Knight of the MDRT Foundation and a member of its Inner Circle Society.
