The Victorian financial advice practice headed up by Mark Dunsford has changed licensees and become a Synchron Authorised Representative.
Dunsford Financial Planning, based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs, was previously a part owner of the self-licensed Now Financial Group, but left prior to the move to Synchron.
The business was also recently acquired by private equity firm AZ Next Generation Advisory as part of a series of purchases by the Italian backed financial advice group which has purchased around 20 advice businesses and practices since May 2015.
Synchron Director, Don Trapnell said the transition of Dunsford Financial Planning increases the number of authorised representatives working under the Synchron banner to 450 as at 30 November 2017.
“Synchron is very passionate about financial advice, particularly risk-related financial advice and we are therefore very pleased to welcome Mark, who is also a passionate advice advocate, and the Dunsford Financial Planning team, to the Synchron family,” Trapnell said.
