ClearView Revamps Quote and Application Platform

ClearView has made a number of enhancements to its life insurance quote and application system, including the addition of tele-interviewing, in an effort to reduce the administrative work undertaken by advisers.

ClearView General Manager of Distribution, Christopher Blaxland-Walker

The insurer stated the revamped system, now named AQUA (Adviser, Quote, Underwriting and Apply), has been given a new intuitive user interface and is integrated with ClearView’s eQuote and eApplication processes. The platform would also allow advisers to request tele-interviewing and tele-underwriting.

Information gathered during a tele-interview, conducted by ClearView staffers, will be added to their Personal Statement and LifeSolutions application, and complex cases that may not work via eApplication can be uploaded directly to the insurer via the platform.

ClearView General Manager of Distribution, Christopher Blaxland-Walker said the launch of tele-interviewing would improve the efficiency of advisers as they would be able to outsource the creation and approval of clients’ Personal Statements.

“Many advisers have already integrated Tele-Interview into their advice processes because it releases them to spend more time providing strategic advice and less time on paperwork and administration,” he said.

ClearView stated the enhancements are a key part of its engagement with advisers and the foundation of its LifeSolutions Adviser Portal, and is the first in a series of planned upgrades for 2018.

“We recognise that the way advisers are interacting with their clients is evolving and similarly we need to evolve and improve the way we engage with advisers to ensure we are easy to do business with,” Blaxland-Walker said.
