MBS Insurance Partner, Kris Mason

Following the pattern of similar ventures, life insurance advice will be offered through the newly formed Ecovis Clark Jacobs Insurance which will operate under the banner of Ecovis Clark Jacobs and will be jointly owned by the two firms.

The new arrangement will allow Ecovis Clark Jacobs to offer life insurance and business continuity insurance at an individual and group risk level for corporate clients looking to protect staff.

“…an insurance advice capability is needed to provide robust holistic advice to our clients…”

Ecovis Clark Jacobs Director, Heath Stewart said the firm “… strongly believes that an insurance advice capability is needed to provide robust holistic advice to our clients” and joined with MBS Insurance “…to ensure a quality end-to-end risk insurance service”.

MBS Insurance Partner, Kris Mason said this latest joint venture brought together the best of both firms and “…was an acknowledgement of our standing and reputation in the financial advisory sector”.

The arrangement with the Ecovis Clark Jacobs is the third deal MBS Insurance has signed with an accounting firm after entering into a joint venture with HLB Mann Judd in January 2018 and with Pitcher Partners Sydney in September 2016.

MBS Insurance also has a joint venture arrangement with general insurance broking firm Honan Insurance Group, signed in December 2017.
