AIA Extends Fee Waiver Offer For Second Time

AIA Australia has further extended its ‘Two for Two’ fee waiver offer, which was due to end on 31 May, until the end of August.

The extension is the second of its kind with the original offer running from 4 December 2017 to 31 March 2018 (see: AIA Australia Waives New Policy, Vitality Fees), before being extended to 31 May 2018, and now to 31 August 2018.

A note on the AIA Australia Adviser Hub states this second extension would be the last and all eligible quotes must be signed and submitted by that date to qualify for the campaign, and no exceptions will be made.

Under the ‘Two for Two: The policy and AIA Vitality fees are on us’ campaign, AIA Australia will

• Waive the policy fee for the first two years on eligible new AIA Priority Protection policies or Priority Protection for Platform Investors policies
• Waive the $120 annual AIA Vitality fee for the first two years for those applicants opting to take the Vitality program with their new policy

Collectively, the fee waiver offer will save AIA Australia policyholders around $400 over two years but does not cover Priority Protection Express policies nor existing policy alterations and any cancel and replace applications.
