Following a tender process, Asteron has emerged as the insurer of choice to underwrite the recently-announced partnership between Aon Financial Planning & Protection and mortgage broker,Smartline.
The Aon/Smartline joint venture (see previous story: Aon in Risk Insurance Partnership…) will see life insurance advice integrated into a every mortgage advice offering made to new and existing clients by Smartline’s more than 200 mortgage advisers across the country. Prior to the partnership, insurance advice was only offered as an add-on service for Smartline’s mortgage clients.
Asteron Executive General Manager, Jordan Hawke, said: “Consumers are the real winners from this agreement, because they are able to both cover themselves for their debt and protect their families.”
