iPad Ideal for Elevator Pitch

    The iPad can take the average “elevator” sales pitch to another level, says the Leading Minds Academy, making it an ideal tool for advisers who want to demonstrate their value to prospective clients.

    As part of a series of ‘iPad Ideas’, the Leading Minds Academy has released an example of a one-minute sales presentation that can be delivered to clients using the iPad.

    Developed using PowerPoint (although the group points out the same effect could be created using Apple’s Keynote software) the one-minute presentation is intended to graphically demonstrate the value of insurance to a client’s long-term financial goals.

    “You could say something like: ‘If you have one-minute I can show you the sort of work we do,” says Brian Boggs, founder of the Leading Minds Academy.

    Another tip offered on the site is to use the same functionality to illustrate how the average adviser fee is apportioned.
