Paul Costello Joins AIA
AIA Australia has appointed Paul Costello to its Board of Directors.
The former Chair of the Stronger Super Peak Consultative Group will join AIA as a non-executive director. He will be responsible for providing AIA with strategic guidance on its Australian operations across the company’s group insurance offering, and the development and growth of its direct and retail businesses.
Speaking about the appointment, Board Chair, Theresa Gattung, said: “Paul’s knowledge, experience and strong stature within the financial services industry make him a great addition as AIA Australia continues to grow. His counsel will prove invaluable as we navigate this period of industry change and he will assist us to remain flexible to change while providing support to our partners and clients.”
New Chief Underwriter at ClearView
ClearView Wealth has announced the appointment of Scott Hodgson to the role of Chief Underwriter.
Mr Hodgson has 25 years industry experience, holding roles with TAL, AMP, Tyndall Life Insurance and PrefSure. He will oversee ClearView’s life insurance underwriting operations, including policy and procedure development.
ClearView Managing Director, Simon Swanson welcomed Mr Hodgson, saying his skills and experience would assist ClearView to bring new products to market and expand its business across Australia.
