Zurich Financial Services Australia has upgraded its Adviser Flipchart application adding in further diagnostic tools to help advisers analyse the needs of clients in real time in conjunction with them.

The white-labelled, client-facing life insurance application, which is currently in use with 1300 financial advisers, will now include a ‘how much is enough?’ diagnostic tool which creates relevant scenarios for clients and includes prompts and pop-ups for personalisation and interactivity with users.
Zurich Life and Investments business, Head of Sales Strategies, Andy Marshall stated the application would produce a protection package tailored to the individual’s circumstances as it allowed clients to picture themselves in the scenarios presented while allowing advisers to question, communicate and engage with them at more meaningful way.
“Assisting and supporting advisers is at the core of everything we do at Zurich, and helping build more effective conversations with clients – resulting in greater client understanding and advocacy for the advice process – is a core part of that support,” Marshall said.
He also stated that putting a digital framework around client needs analysis process can improve its effectiveness and the upgrade to the application would increase the the effectiveness of client engagement as well as a client’s understanding of the advice and insurance they have received.
“In an increasingly digitised world, consumers are taking their cues from other sectors such as retail and entertainment, and are expecting a similar degree of interactivity and simplicity across other product categories,” Marshall said.
“This is not to suggest that customers are seeking a digital-only experience. Rather, we have found that face to face engagement combined with bespoke digital tools can accelerate the rate of understanding and engagement with the topics at hand.”
