The new site was beta tested with a pilot group of risk advisers with Zurich stating this led to the inclusion of a delegation function for practice staff and extended session time-outs.

Advisers will be able to upload documents and photos from any device or computer or download brochures and forms, and view client applications, renewals, transactions and account balances.

Zurich stated the new site, which replaced Zurich’s Adviser Assist portal from 2 May, will send users a weekly summary email which will evolve to a full push notification service in the near future.

Zurich, Australian Life and Investments business, Head of Retail Distribution, Kristine Brooks said the new portal was part of the insurer’s ‘Blueprints for the Future’ program.

Brooks said efficiency was a primary focus for many advisers and research conducted by Zurich found that automation and process simplification were two ways advisers were looking at achieve this end.
