FPA Opens Awards Submissions

The Financial Planning Association has opened submissions for its annual awards, including two new awards which recognize achievement beyond those of individual financial planners.

While the FPA will continue to present its Certified Financial Planner Professional of the Year Award, Financial Planner AFP of the Year Award, Future Community Service Award and FPA University Student of the Year Award it will also present the FPA Paraplanner of the Year Award and FPA Professional Practice of the Year Award, which will be determined by the results of a Business HealthCheck survey.

FPA CEO, Dante De Gori, CFP, said “The FPA Awards are designed to recognise those who go above and beyond to deliver best practice financial planning for clients. The two new award categories we have launched this year will acknowledge the delivery of excellence at a business level, and through the valuable contribution made by paraplanners,” De Gori said.

Submissions (which can be made here) will close on 2 September and winners will be announced during the FPA Professionals Congress in Perth, on 23-25 November.
