In the second batch of recruits to come across from Macquarie Life ahead of the latter’s acquisition in October this year, Jessica Brady and Danielle Visser will continue in their role as BDMs for NSW and Queensland, respectively, while David Rees will continue as West Australian Regional Manager.

All three will report to National Sales Manager, David Evans who moved across from Macquarie Life where he held the role of Queensland State Sales Manager – Wealth Management.

Evans was appointed in July alongside Daniel Longden, who moved from Head of Commercial Management, Wealth Product & Platforms at Macquarie Group to Head of Strategy and Propositions at Zurich.

The new team will be responsible for the creation and presentation of life insurance content to support Zurich’s strategic partners as well as the ongoing management of the Zurich Curriculum program which delivers technical and sales development content through webinars and workshops.

Zurich said as a result of these changes and the establishment of the new team National Sales Strategies Manager Andy Marshall had left Zurich to explore new opportunities.

Zurich Life and Investments, Head of Distribution, Kristine Brooks said Marshall would be missed after four years in the role.

“Andy has been a valued member of the Zurich family for four years, and as well as being a highly respected presenter and passionate advocate of advice, became known as a thought leader on the role of technology in improving the client engagement experience,” Brooks said.
