MLC Life Insurance will roll-out its group life insurance digital portal, LifeView, to the 100,000 member industry fund Vision Super, the second move of its kind in the past six months.
The roll-out follows the decision of Vision Super to appoint MLC Life Insurance as its new group insurance provider in January 2018, and will allow funds members to log into the portal to modify their level of life insurance or make a claim.
Members will also be able to upload documents to support their claims application and track the status of their application in real time with the portal integrated with MLC Life Insurance’s digital underwriting platform.
MLC Life Insurance Chief Customer Officer, Group Insurance, Suzanne Smith said the portal would allow Vision Super members to have easy interaction with their life insurance, allow them to better understand their life insurance and set the level of cover that was appropriate for them.
“The portal also provides an integrated experience for trustees and administrators, providing superannuation funds with transparent view of the claims process. Transforming our technology to meet our customers’ and our group insurance clients’ needs is key for us,” Smith said.
