AIA Australia will extend two adviser campaigns, offering a policy fee waiver and initial lump sum discount, by a further three months to the end of March 2019.

The life insurer will extend its ‘Take a Break’ campaign as well as its AIA Vitality initial Lump Sum discount offer, first offered to advisers in September and July, respectively (see: AIA Australia to Offer Two Year Policy Fee Waiver), which were due to end on 31 December.

Under the terms of the first campaign, AIA Australia will waive the policy fee for two years for eligible clients when they apply for any eligible new business Priority Protection policy within the campaign submission period, which ends on 31 March 2019.

Concurrently, AIA Australia also increase the initial AIA Vitality Discount for Lump Sum benefits from 12.5 percent to 15 percent, for eligible clients, when they take out a new AIA Vitality membership within the submission period.

The insurer has also announced a number of key changes to its health and wellbeing program, AIA Vitality, which reached more than 100,000 members at the end of October.

The program has entered into a partnership with TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies as the provider of AIA Vitality Health Checks, which assesses key biometrics used to assess general health, including the Body-Mass-Index, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose.

AIA Vitality has also partnered with Virgin Australia which will offer up to 50 percent cashback on domestic and international flights, and with Tickemaster which will accept shopping vouchers gained through the program.
