OnePath has broadened access to its OneCare Extended Terminal Medical Condition feature.
In its latest update to advisers, the insurer has noted this feature, which pays the OneCare Life Cover sum insured when the life insured’s death is likely to occur within 24 months due to illness or injury, is to be made available to policies held outside super from 30 November 2019.
The update notes that extending the eligibility for this feature to non-super OneCare policies provides clients with more choice and flexibility.
A Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement including this change will be released and take effect from 30 November 2019, and the insurer advises this enhancement will also appear in updated product comparison software packages.
