It seems a lifetime ago that we were able to have a business meeting over a cup of coffee, visit a client at home, or a colleague at their office.

It’s hard to say how long the restrictions on social distancing will continue, but meanwhile we have had to turn to video calling for those important face-to-face meetings and to share documents while we chat.

While it was business as usual for some, others have had to grapple with setting up accounts with video chat service providers, and then working out how to manage ‘virtual’ meetings.

In short, they work best when only one person speaks at a time – it’s like going back to the days of the talking stick. It’s a less-than-natural experience for many.
