TAL has launched a new webinar to help financial advisers successfully manage their businesses in a virtual environment.

Run through its industry education programme, TAL Risk Academy, the insurer says in a media release the webinar focuses on providing advisers with tools and resources to deliver quality service to their customers in the current environment.

It features insights from TAL Sales Development Manager, Marshall Ross, and two advisers who have extensive experience in managing their services online: Jason Poole, Managing Director at GPA Matrix and Founder of Client First Advisors, and Tyson Jones, Senior Financial Adviser at Jonas Wealth Management.

Beau Riley…many advice practices are exploring working remotely for the first time.

TAL Head of Licensees and Partnerships, Beau Riley,  notes that as business operations across Australia are impacted by COVID-19 many advice practices are exploring working remotely for the first time.

“This webinar supports advisers by discussing how to successfully manage their operational processes and teams online with the right technology and tools.

“Advisers need to be harnessing technology that enables them to make the advice process as efficient as possible while also maintaining their compliance obligations.”

He says the webinar provides guidance and practical examples around these issues to help advisers.

Riley notes too that TAL Risk Academy is designing alternative options for its  face-to-face classes and reviewing its training courses “… to ensure we provide relevant support for advisers at this difficult time. If advisers need to keep up with their CPD requirements remotely, the TAL Risk Academy provides free on-demand and webinar courses across all FASEA CPD categories and we will be offering live streamed workshops from May,” he says.

The webinar, Adapting your business to provide outstanding service virtually, is available on demand for all financial advisers.  Click here for more information.

    1. Is this technology really a major help or just making us lazy.?
You cannot stop progress and anything that speeds up the process in this new world of 14 hour days is widely and gladly accepted, but clients put their trust in you that’s why they deal with you ! They want to see you face to face to help them with their issues to help retain that confidence they have in you.
Don’t let mechanisation take that away or it will just come down to who is offering the cheapest cover.
